Non-Invasive Transcranial Brain Magnetic Therapy (NITBMT) is a Functional Neurology tool recently developed in Europe. Currently there are less than 200 practitioners using this method worldwide. NITBMT is the specific use of a strong magnet to identify specific areas of the brain that have poor resilience such as poor blood circulation, poor oxygenation and/or poor energy production/energy flow contributing to neurological problems. It was originally created for brain injury rehabilitation and is based on bone brain relationship principles.
NITBMT works by challenging specific neurological pathways to identify the functional weaknesses in the brain. Client performs a series of motor, sensory and/or cognitive activities that should be easy, painless, and effortless to identify the weaknesses.
For example, let’s consider a case with chronic neck pain when turning head to the right creates a weak functional response in cortico-muscular tracts. The strong magnet is used to find the specific weakness in the brain associated with that neurological pathway. The related bone reflex in the body associated with the neurological functional weakness is then identified and treated while magnet is placed on the specific brain area. (NOTE: The bone reflex is often very tender, degree of tenderness is related to degree of poor resilience in the related area of the brain.) Immediately, after the treatment, the specific neurological pathway is challenged again, and the neck then turns to right with greater ease and strength, with reduced or no more pain. The positive results last, unless amount of organic brain degeneration exceeds the amount of healthy tissue in the area like in advanced Parkinson’s or advanced dementia. Thus, the importance of early detection and treatment.
Sometimes there are multiple neurological pathways involved/impaired with an associated chronic symptom that needs to be identified and treated for complete resolution of the symptom.
NITBMT is used to treat people with observable neurological impairment like brain injuries, strokes, poor memory, balance issues, Depression, Chronic Pain. It is also very effective for people who don’t have major symptoms who want to optimize and increase the resilience of their brain for greater adaptability to stress, mental clarity, objective decision making, sensory function, motor balance and coordination and sports performance.
